Why use a Mason Pearson Hairbrush?

The Pneumatic Cushion The cushion is supported by air. The cushion allows the brush to conform to the contours of the scalp when brushing.
Spired Tufting The reason it is necessary to have varying lengths of bristle is because you have varying lengths of hair on your head at any given time.
MasonPearson uses pure, premium grade, boar bristle because it has a natural affinity to human hair. The affinity makes the boar bristle cling to the hair shaft, to accomplish the purposes of hair brushing-which are to Stimulate, Exfoliate, and Distribute - without causing damage.
MasonPearson also uses nylon in some of the models. These nylon "spikes" are molded (rounded) at the ends to prevent cutting the hair shaft. The nylon is sometimes necessary for certain types and styles of hair which resist the pure boar bristle.
The Mason Pearson Hairbrush is uniquely qualified to accomplish the purposes of hair brushing. Each brush is designed to be "Hair Type and Style Specific."As you would not recommend the same skin treatment to customers with different skin types, you should not recommend the same hairbrush to customers with different hair types and styles.
